The kite flying competition

My son and I attended a kite flying competition of our city.
At the competition, participants brought their handmade kite to evaluate their design and a distance they flied.

My son attended a class of making kite last Sunday with his sister. He made his own kite with her assistance.
He brought that kite to participate in the competition.

Today was a cold, windy and sunny day. It was optimal to fly kite.

We went to the baseball ground at the riverside where the competition was held.
Children were divided by their school grades. He was divided into a group of first and second grade children.
At first children showed their own kites to a judge and their design was evaluated.
After that, they flied their kite.
My son’s kite flied very well. His kite flied highest in the sky of all.
So many parents of other children gave him coments of admiration that he seemed to be convinced his win of the competition.

When the result was reported, he got the prize of the best flier of his group.
He looked very happy.
