Christmas dinner

We had a Christmas dinner with my family and my mother last night.

I cooked a roast chicken, soup, salad and a Christmas cake.
When we started the dinner, my husband told us what had happened to every family members this year, then he cut the chicken into pieces. The chicken was so good that everybody enjoyed it.

We exchanged presents with each other.
We gave my mother a pot of flowers. It was a pot of cyclamen which was her favourite winter flower. She gave my son a skater board. She also gave my daughter some allowance because my daughter thought of too many things she wanted to decide one thing from them.
My husband and I gave my daughter two games for her DS player.
I was given an MP3 player form my husband.
I have a plan to give a coat to my husband when the winter sales start in January.

We didn't give a present to my son at this party, because Santa Claus was going to give a present at night when he was asleep.
